Jennifer Ringler, MS
I am a freelance writer, journalist, editor, and public relations specialist in the B2B and consumer science, healthcare, and pharmaceutical space. I'm currently accepting inquiries for new projects.
I have been a health communicator since 2010 and a journalist since 2005. I have worked as a reporter, writer, editor, and PR professional for biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical trade publications, general consumer health magazines, and health-related non-profits.
I am currently freelance/remote Director of Public Relations for EnvisionHealth, serving clients in the healthcare IT/data management space.
I most recently worked as Associate Manager, Content Development and Public Relations at Caladrius Biosciences, a biotechnology cell therapy development company. Here, I wrote and edited brochures, newsletters, articles, white papers, and press releases. I also identified appropriate media opportunities for Caladrius, participated in communications efforts tied to clinical trial enrollment efforts, and kept abreast of cell therapy and immunotherapy research and other research of interest to the biotech industry. My past roles have
included public relations, media relations, account management, editorial, and
reporter positions at pharmaceutical PR agencies, non-profit health- and
science-focused foundations, and Pharmaceutical
Executive magazine.
In 2013 I earned my Master of Science in Health Communication from Boston
University. The graduate program was a challenging combination of science
classes such as Biology of Disease, Epidemiology, and Nutrition, along with
communications classes such as Marketing and Public Relations. I hold a BA in Writing from William Paterson University of NJ.
